Sweet Aladdin and Sweeney Todd

Hmmm.. what is the connection of Aladdin and blood thirst Mr. Todd?

Last night just before bed, I noticed Aladdin was crying quietly... I asked him what was the matter but he sort of doesn't want to tell me [or don't know how to tell me??]- I kept on pressing, why all this tears suddenly .. can't be of no reason!!

then he said "I was just thinking when I become a man... then you are going to be OLD! UWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
He carrying it on! - aiyyo!
I thought there must be something he heard or see or discuss?? at school maybe? that spurred this kind of thoughts... could it be Sweeney Todd?

We watched Sweeney Todd again and again on Sunday - I quite like musical and kids enjoyed the musics. Nevermind the blood.. hahahah it was rather funny kind of blood.. kept telling them it's not real kids!
(yeah common mum - spoil it for us). There was this one part when Benjamin Barker came back (as Sweeney Todd off course) to his old room/house? he lifted the cover over the cot and there was this little doll which belong to his baby girl.. Where's the baby mummy? Well, she grew up.. to become a lady who sings at the window. So 'that' maybe got him thinking about growing up into a man himself... -who knows-

I also watched The curious case of Benjamin Button, not sure if Aladdin sat through all that aging process that Cate Blanchett had to go through... hmm the curious mind of Aladdin Addicoat

Extremely busy

Hewwo kengkawang semua...

Been neglecting everything lately. Work work work which was very unlikely of me. muahahahahaha. The project that I was assigned to still not up and running.. oh bother! Been feeling really really stupid and small and uh!

My sweet sweet dear friend offered to look after the three boys one night so that Hisham and I can have a romantic night out. Very kind offer. I'm just trying to think when was the last of our 'romantic night out'.. which was like NEVER!

Queen of Clutter

This is the view from where I sit.. quite nice eh.. but I heard from the grapevine that physicists will migrate to second floor... in not too distant future... grumble grumble

The neat desk is not mine. wakakakakakak - I only try tidying my desk if and when I am on long holiday!
most of the time - cest la moi!
Actually now it looked worst than this one!

My little green gems

This pic. was taken in March if I'm not mistaken. We were supposed to go for this 24 hrs relay-for-life event - not the whole time but at every point of that 24 hrs - someone from the team should be walking the track. But it wa cancelled due to bad weather.

Mi casa es su casa

One day the whole gang went up the windmill cafe.. I just like to support local business in this 'trying' economic times - yerr la tu!

This is our house from the windmill's 'balcony'.

I wish I have more bush along the other side of my front fence.

Foggy Days are here

Last week I got the chance to ride my scooter two or three days only. I rode to work one day in a pea soup fog... I was scared sh**less! - I can't see anything, every two second I wiped my helmet 'viser' but it did little good. My throat was all dried and I thought .. "this is it"
Alhamdulillah I survived the day but never again... so I get chauffeured on days like this

Wombating at Cradle Mountain National Park

These pictures were taken on our trip to Cradle Mountain several weeks ago. One creature that predominantly found roaming around acres and acres of grassland were wombats. They look so unbelievably cute but when you go close to them... you soon discover that they don't really smell very nice.. they seemed to be scratching a lot.. tick cities!
Their poo poo are in cubes!.. How did they manage that? I wonder - must have a very strong sphincter! The grassland camouflage them quite efficiently

The burrow
Here was a wombat trail next to the 'human planks highway'. They are mainly crepuscular and nocturnal but on overcast days like this.. they comes out too.

There's one!
This one was really friendly.. he/she? even join us for a walk!

How cute is this one?!! He ran towards the planks when he saw us and I ran towards him put my hand underneath the planks and quickly snap! Euwrrr - I don't know who was scared the most.

Kids behind "button gwass"
'Little superman'.. I had to say that to him to keep him wearing the gloves, this cheeky boy.

this one is not the wombat trail.. it's the tiniest noisiest creeks with tiniest waterfalls --- all over the place... almost like fairies wonderland! We actually saw a platypus in these tiny creeks!

It's STUPID to NOT be angry

When you are subjected to verbal abuses all the time .. like

numbnuts
drunks
dickheads
shit for brain
etc ..
etc ..

BUT.. It's WISE not to.

Because once you get angry and blow... things are bound to be awkward....

I have anger management issue [big sigh]

School Holiday..

Aladdin is on holiday. May holiday always seemed to coincide with school holiday in Malaysia. I want to do something 'different' for him. So he can sketch his school holiday's story. He can't read very well nor can he write very well, but he draws impressively [to me anyway]. Aminah took us to Latrobe last sunday. Cheese and chocolate factories, platypus sighting and 'fishing' and picnic. Pictures and stories to come later.

I am quite busy at work. There's this new 'toy' for me to get it up and running and so far I am not winning. Since it's always a struggle for me to turn up early for work, I always choose late tasks. Sometimes late tasks is as late as 8 pm. It is okay since I can used the gap time between finished normal working hour and late job by going to gym. (In theory that is... wakakakakaka) I have been going home late many times these past weeks. Mainly to try our new 'toy' - can only get to it when there's no patients. Hisham always teasing me if I can still remember how the kids look like. Nasty jokes.

Our plan is to have lunch together as many times as possible. There's a perfect spot for our picnic lunch in the hospital ground... will try and post some pictures so you guys can see why it is a perfect spot.
