Mother's Day

These are what I got for Mother's Day. The bead bracelet is from Orion and the felt flower pin from Aladdin.

The week before that Orion said - Mummy we are not allowed to tell you what we did in school... but we can tell you on Sunday

Even that was a day late because I texted it to my sister and she FORGOT to tell my mum.. FORGOT????

Platypus

This is my favourite Aussie Animal. In my opinion, you can't get any weirder animal than this one.

This one is 'stuffed'. Different part of the body has different types of fur.

In the wild it's hard to really 'see' them. They are very shy animal. Normally we just got the glimpse of it! However, there is a place somewhere in the North called Beauty Point where you can get really up close and personal with them. We haven't been there - I heard the tickets are quite expensive but then again what is not expensive in Tasmania?
